The present invention relates to a composition for controlling bacterial leaf blight of rice comprising Antibiotic FD893 produced from a streptomyces MJM8519 strain. The composition for controlling bacterial leaf blight of rice of the present invention inhibits the bacterial leaf blight of rice causing the greatest damage to rice which is one of the three largest plants in the world, which inhibits the blight of rice blight, thereby minimizing damage to a rice growing area.
