The present invention relates to thermoplastic polyurethane, a method for manufacturing the same, and a biocompatible article comprising the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to: biocompatible thermoplastic polyurethane which is environmentally friendly and improved in mechanical properties by containing, as a polymeric constituent unit, anhydrosugar alcohol, an anhydrosugar alcohol derivative, or a mixture thereof which are natural product-derived materials; the method for manufacturing the same; and the biocompatible article comprising the same.
