The present invention relates to a method for checking a growth condition, comprising the steps of: inputting information on a target subject in a device; measuring a distance to a first point of the target subject from the device through a distance measurement module of the device; rotating the device by a set angle and measuring a distance to a second point of the target subject from the device through the distance measurement module of the device; calculating the set angle () by which the device rotates; calculating real measured data on a distance (X) from the first point (D1) to the second point (D2) through the set angle (), the distance (D1) to the first point and the distance (D2) to the second point; and comparing the real measured data with statistical data.
