The present invention relates to a smart distribution center operating system comprising a plurality of storage racks installed in a distribution center to load cargo; an electronic tag reader arranged on a prescribed position of the storage racks to recognize an electronic tag attached to cargo and use the internet of things to automatically transmit incoming and outgoing of cargo and position information of cargo to a distribution center management server; a rail installed between the storage racks, and connected to a cargo outgoing point and a cargo incoming point; a shuttle to move along the rail, and load one or more pieces of cargo to move horizontally; a stacker crane which is mounted on the shuttle, and loads one or more pieces of cargo in the storage racks; and a server to receive and store information including one or more among incoming, outgoing, and positions of cargo transmitted in real time by the electronic tag reader, and combine the received information to provide an operating state of the distribution center.
