The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing butyl carbitol formal and a butyl carbitol formal manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing butyl carbitol formal comprises: a mixture manufacturing step of manufacturing a mixture by mixing paraformaldehyde and butyl diglycol; a vacuum reaction step of reacting the mixture in a vacuum to reduce a water content of the mixture; a cooling step of colling the mixture; and a deacidification step of deacidification of the mixture with a basic aqueous solution. According to the present invention, it is possible to manufacture butyl carbitol foamal with a quick process and a high yield.
