A self resonant-reset forwarding DC-DC converter comprises: a transformer unit provided with a first main winding (Lp) and a first and a second sub-winding (Ls1, Ls2); an input unit connecting input voltage to one end of the first main winding; a switch unit connected between the other end of the main winding and the ground; a diode rectification unit in which an anode of a first forward diode (D1) is connected to one end of the first sub winding (Ls1), the other end of the first sub winding (LS1) is connected to an anode of a second free wheeling diode (D2), a cathode of the first forward diode is connected to the anode of the second free wheeling diode, an anode of a second forward diode (D3) is connected to one end of the second sub winding (Ls2), the other end of the second sub winding (Ls2) is connected to an anode of a second free wheeling diode (D4), a cathode of the second forward diode is connected to the anode of the second free wheeling diode, and the anode of the first free wheeling diode (D2) is connected to a cathode of the second free wheeling diode (D4); and an output unit outputting voltage between the cathode of the first free wheeling diode (D2) and the anode of the second free wheeling diode (D4). The present invention is advantageous in a high speed high frequency operation, has low ripple and noise properties and enhances voltage conversion efficiency.
