Disclosed is a method for providing suitability of a garment size. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing suitability of a garment size comprises the following steps. An apparatus for providing size suitability operates coefficients of each portion based on the dimension of a body portion of a user and the dimension of the corresponding portion of the garment of a first size. The apparatus for providing size suitability converts the coefficient of the coefficients of each portion into the suitability. And, the apparatus for providing size suitability calculates the suitability of the first size of the garment based on the suitability of a plurality of predetermined portions in accordance with the type of the garment.
