Disclosed is a system capable of correctly predicting a change in workload of a virtual machine (VM). According to the present invention, the system comprises a VM server. The VM server comprises: a processor; a memory; at least two VMs stored in the memory to be executed by the processor; a VM hypervisor managing operations of the VM; and a cache including at least one storage device. A dynamic cache partition manager (DCPM) can manage cache partition to a performance-guarantee zone and a spike buffer zone capable of being partitioned into several zones. The DCPM comprises: a reusability statics calculator calculating reusability statics; a comparator comparing the reusability with a spike threshold value; an access statistics calculator calculating access statistics; a spike data identifier identifying data of the spike buffer zone satisfying the access statistics; and a cache partitioner partitioning again the cache into a new performance guarantee zone and a second spike buffer zone for a new period. The second spike buffer zone is large enough to store the identified data. The present invention can accurately predict changes in VM workload and trace the amount of obtained cache from the past partition solution.
