Device for Cutting Acrylic plate for minimizing damage of Acrylic plate and method using the same

Disclosed are a device for cutting an acrylic plate, minimizing damage to an acrylic plate generated during a process of fixing and cutting the acrylic plate, and a cutting method for an acrylic plate using the same. According to the present invention, the device for cutting an acrylic plate, minimizing the damage to the acrylic plate, includes: a mounting unit providing a cutting route of the acrylic plate mounted, wherein the acrylic plate is mounted on the mounting unit; a fixing unit installed on the upper side of the mounting unit and fixing the acrylic plate by pressing the acrylic plate mounted, by descending toward the mounting unit; a cutting unit including a cutting blade installed on one side of the fixing unit and cutting the fixed acrylic plate along the cutting route by the cutting blade when the acrylic plate is fixed; and a control unit fixing the acrylic plate when the acrylic plate is mounted and cutting the fixed acrylic plate along the cutting route when the acrylic plate is fixed. The mounting unit includes: a cutting route groove capable of cutting the fixed acrylic plate along the cutting route while the cutting blade is accommodated inside; a damage preventing member having the fixing unit on the acrylic plate mounted and the lower side of a first area pressing the acrylic plate to fix the acrylic plate, wherein the damage preventing member prevents damage to the acrylic plate by absorbing a force generated when the acrylic plate mounted initially comes into contact with the fixing unit, to the lower side; and an accommodation groove accommodating the damage preventing member. Therefore, the device for cutting an acrylic plate can minimize damage to the acrylic plate generated during a process of fixing or cutting the acrylic plate since the acrylic plate is in an available state by being cut.
