The present invention relates to an aerogel blanket producing method and an aerogel blanket produced by the method. The producing method of the aerogel blanket includes: a step (a) of forming glass fiber water dispersion by mixing glass fiber and water; a step (b) of forming aerogel water dispersion by mixing aerogel, surfactant, and water; a step (c) of forming slurry by mixing the glass fiber water dispersion and the aerogel water dispersion; a step (d) of forming a complex layer by coating a glass fiber mat with the slurry; a step (e) of carding the complex layer; a step (f) of drying the carded complex layer; and a step (g) of winding the dried complex layer. The aerogel blanket provided by the present invention has excellent flame retardancy and has excellent heat insulation performance compared to existing insulation materials.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
