Disclosed are a device and a method for generating a composite focal point image using focal point surfaces of a focal point adjusting type optical scanner. A method for generating the composite focal point image can comprise: a step of identifying the obtained focal point surfaces by varying a focal point of a camera according to depth; a step of extracting pixels focused on an object at each of the focal point surfaces; a step of assigning an index of focal point surfaces corresponding to each of the pixels focused on the object to each of the pixels focused on the object; and a step of combining the pixels focused on the object to manufacture a composite focal point image.
