Disclosed are a response management method for flood inundation in a river and a response management system for flood inundation in a river. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the response management method for flood inundation in a river comprises the steps of: identifying a plurality of measurement points associated with prediction points set for the river when a water level prediction for the river is requested; reading, from a database, a precipitation amount measured at a predetermined cycle at each of the measurement points; predicting a water level at a time point elapsed from a time point of the water level prediction request using the precipitation amount and a water level measured from the prediction points; and providing a predicted water level to a customer terminal.
