The present invention provides artificial feed for a larva for artificial breeding, which comprises powder of branches and leaves from mulberry trees, a host plant of Psacothea hilaris, to increase a survival rate of a larva of Psacothea hilaris, and also provides a method for artificially breeding each larva of Psacothea hilaris by using a plastic tube filled with the artificial feed for a larva. According to the present invention, the method for artificially breeding each larva of Psacothea hilaris comprises the steps of: hatching eggs laid on branches of mulberry trees and collecting larvae; placing into plastic tubes artificial feed comprising powder of branches and leaves from mulberry trees, a host plant of Psacothea hilaris, based on an artificial feed composition for Moechotypa diphysis (Pascoe), and putting each of the collected larvae into each tube to breed the same under high-temperature and long-day condition (25C, 16L:8D), wherein compared with conventional breeding on a petri dish, labor force necessary for supplying and taking care of feed can be saved and alteration in the feed will be reduced to decrease a death rate of larvae, thereby allowing effective artificial breeding.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
