According to one embodiment of the present invention, a TDR type soil moisture measuring device using a coaxial cable comprises: a coaxial cable (130) for a probe to be inserted into the soil when measuring soil moisture; and a measurement circuit (110) electrically connected to a shield (C3), which is an external conductor of a coaxial cable (140) for the probe, by a signal line. Disclosed is the TDR type soil moisture measuring device using the coaxial cable, in which the measurement circuit is configured to supply a high frequency signal to the coaxial cable (130) for the probe through the signal line, and receive a reflected wave from the coaxial cable (130) for the probe so as to measure the soil moisture.
