An aminopyrazolopyrimidine compound represented by the following structural formula is used as an inhibitor of neurotrophic factor tyrosine kinase receptor. The compounds are capable of inhibiting the activity of Trk kinase and treating diseases mediated by Trk tyrosine kinase receptors in the mammal.
