The present invention relates to a real-time damage sensing system of a rope made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CRFP) used in an elevator for a super tall building and high-speed movement and, more specifically, to a method and an elevator driving system which can identify problematic items when a conductive property possessed by a rope made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CRFP) is used or an integrated copper wire is used to transfer a load for each zone or to the CRFP rope for each zone or minute damage, cracks, and destruction occur, and sense a state of the CRFP rope in real time. According to the present invention, A real-time load received by an elevator rope and cracks can be sensed by sensing electrical characteristics such as a multimeter using conductivity of CRFP, a data logger, and DAQ to help stability improvement of an elevator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
