Disclosed are an apparatus for monitoring a workplace using a QR code and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the method for monitoring a workplace using a QR code is performed by the apparatus for monitoring a workplace using a QR code. The method comprises the steps of: receiving image information of a workplace from a drone; extracting a QR code corresponding to the workplace using the received image information; searching for data corresponding to the QR code; and outputting the searched data as a monitoring result of the workplace.
