The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing three-dimensional topography and facility data using an online map API and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the apparatus for providing three-dimensional topography and facility data using the online map API comprises: a search unit which searches for an address corresponding to a region name or a facility name, which has been entered from a user, and to convert the searched address into an actual GIS coordinate; a generation unit which draws a virtual coordinate of a tile generated in a grid type in a virtual space into a GIS coordinate by using the actual GIS coordinate, engages the map image, topography altitude information, and facility information collected from the online gap open API through the drawn GIS coordinate, and generates three-dimensional topography and facility data; an output unit which outputs the generated three-dimensional topography and facility data on a screen; and a management unit which classifies and records an output format method, shape, and image information on the three-dimensional topography and facility. The present invention aims to provide the apparatus for providing three-dimensional topography and facility data using the online map API and the method thereof, which are able to precisely and rapidly obtain three-dimensional space data with topography information engaged with facility information.
