Disclosed is a technique for synchronizing media played by a plurality of clients in a multichannel environment based on an MMT protocol. A method for synchronizing content in a multichannel environment based on an MMT protocol, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: calculating an average round-trip time (RTT) by measuring RTTs until a packet including time information is transmitted to a server and a response packet for the same is received for a predetermined number of times; and calculating a network average delay time with the server based on the calculated average RTT and adjusting an actual play time of content received from the server by using the calculated average network average delay time.
