The present invention relates to a silicone-containing soft contact lens manufacturing method, a soft contact lens manufactured by the method, and a composition for molding the soft contact lens. The manufacturing method includes: a mixing step of mixing the composition for molding the soft contact lens including silicone-containing monomers, hydrophilic monomers, and surfactants; a mixture injecting step of injecting the mixture obtained through the mixing step into a mold for forming a contact lens; a polymerizing step of adding heat or ultraviolet rays to the mixture in the mold and thus, polymerizing the mixture to obtain a molded product; an extracting step of extracting the molded product from the mold after the polymerizing step; and a postprocessing step of obtaining a contact lens by postprocessing the extracted molded product. The composition ratio of the composition for molding the soft contact lens is characterized with 100 parts by weight of silicone-containing monomers, 20 to 400 parts by weight of hydrophilic monomers, and 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of surfactants. The silicone-containing soft contact lens of the present invention like the above has good wear ability, has excellent lens transparency, and rarely has lens deformation during use due to stable maintenance of physical properties since the silicone-containing soft contact lens has a proper water content and sufficient elasticity without causing damage on cornea with excellent oxygen permeability and hydrophilicity despite the use of hydrophobic silicone-containing monomers and hydrophilic monomers as raw materials.
