The present invention relates to a method for cultivating buckwheat sprout with the increased phenolic compound content, buckwheat sprout with the increased phenolic compound content cultivated by the method and a method for increasing the phenolic compound content of buckwheat sprout. The method for cultivating buckwheat sprout with the increased phenolic compound content comprises the following steps of: (1) sterilizing and washing buckwheat seeds; (2) treating jasmonic acid to the washed buckwheat seeds in the step (1); and (3) germinating the buckwheat seeds treated with jasmonic acid in the step (2).
