The present invention relates to a nano-liquid crystal emulsion composition comprising nano-sized liquid crystal multilayer capsules containing a natural extract and natural oils; a cosmetic composition comprising the same; and a method for preparing the same. More preferably, the present invention provides a nano-liquid crystal emulsion composition comprising: an aqueous part containing one natural extract selected from the group consisting of Centella asiatica extracts, Portulaca oleracea extracts, chamomile flower extracts, chaste tree extracts, burdock root extracts, Phellinus linteus extracts, and a mixture comprising one or more thereof; and an oily phase part containing one natural oil selected from the group consisting of apricot seed oil, macadamia nut oil, almond oil, Limnandes Alba seed oil, jojoba oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and a mixture comprising one or more thereof. In addition, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition comprising the same. The present invention can significantly increase skin calming and moisturizing effects.
