According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for predicting basicity of molten metal slag. According to an embodiment, the method for predicting basicity of molten metal slag comprises the following steps of: refining molten metal in an electric furnace and then measuring electric furnace end point molten metal oxygen amounts; allowing the molten metal refined in the electric furnace to flow out of the electric furnace to be transferred to a ladle furnace (LF); and deriving a basicity prediction value of the molten metal slag reaching the LF by putting the electric furnace end point molten metal oxygen amounts into the following formula 1.
