The present invention relates to an output control system of renewable energy generation considering a state of charge (SOC) of an energy storage system (ESS) and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the output control system of renewable energy generation considering a SOC of an ESS comprises: a renewable energy generation system outputting power generated through renewable energy to a system; and a supercapacitor energy storage system (SCESS), in being connected in parallel with the renewable energy generation system to control irregular output in both directions in the system, controlling operation in a charge mode or a discharge mode of a supercapacitor by comparing the SOC of the supercapacitor and a preset energy reference.
