The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting or removing a staphylococcus biofilm comprising an Orostachys japonica extract and various applications thereof. The Orostachys japonica extract of the present invention contains quercetin or a kaempferol component, inhibits cell surface adhesion and PBP2a latex aggregation reaction of staphylococcus, and inhibits a mecA gene, a methicillin-resistant biomarker and penicillin binding protein 2A (PBP2A) encoded by the same, thereby having an effect of inhibiting staphylococcus and staphylococcus having resistance to methicillin. Therefore, the Orostachys japonica extract can be usefully used in pharmaceutical and health functional food fields.
