Disclosed are an SF6 gas composition analysis auxiliary device for a gas insulated switchgear and an SF gas composition analysis method using the same. The disclosed SF6 gas component analysis auxiliary device, which connects a plurality of gas valves for discharging SF gas in each section of a gas insulated switch gear to a gas analysis device, and supplies the SF gas from the gas valves to the gas analysis device, comprises: a connection pipe unit including a plurality of first connection pipes respectively connected to a plurality of gas valves, a second connection pipe for connecting ends of the first connection pipes to each other, and a third connection pipe formed at a side end of the second connection pipe and having a gas analysis device connected thereto; a connection pipe module including a valve unit including a plurality of first manual opening/closing valves respectively installed on the first connection pipes, a second manual opening/closing valve installed on the third connection pipe, and a third manual opening/closing valve installed on the second connection pipe; and a vacuum pump installed at an end of the second connection pipe to allow the inside of the connection pipe unit to be a vacuum state.
