The present invention relates to a method for coupling a baffle and a tube of a shell and tube type heat exchanger, wherein a thread is processed into a baffle hole of the shell and tube type heat exchanger by a cutting machine, and another thread is formed in a baffle hole insertion position of the tube to couple the baffle hole to a baffle. According to the present invention, A-type flow of the shell and tube type heat exchanger is minimized to increase performance of the heat exchanger. Moreover, the tube is tightly fixed to the baffle hole to prevent damage to the tube due to vibration in accordance with flow of a fluid. In addition, bundle distortion in accordance with an assembly of the heat exchanger can be prevented.
