The present invention relates to a street inlet wastebasket on a road. An objective of the present invention is to allow street cleaners to easily collect waste by lifting a handle of a street inlet wastebasket by a single hand when collecting waste in a street inlet on a road to resolve a convention problem that a person must individually pick up one piece of waste at a time. The present invention also relates to tongs. The street inlet wastebasket on a road comprises: a street inlet wastebasket body formed into a mesh in a rectangular basket shape to allow rainwater of a street inlet to flow effectively to hold waste; a handle ergonomically dented in a shape of a hand of a person to be attached to open, lift, or hold the street inlet wastebasket body by a hand; and a handle extension post to connect the street inlet wastebasket body by allowing a post to protrude from a lower end portion of both sides of the handle to easily lift the street inlet wastebasket body by longitudinally extending a handle extension post when lifting the handle. Therefore, the present invention allows street cleaners to easily collect waste by lifting a handle of a street inlet wastebasket by a single hand when collecting waste in a street inlet on a road to resolve a convention problem that a person must individually pick up one piece of waste at a time.
