The present invention relates to a method for providing a forest therapeutic index (FTI) to indicate forest therapeutic potential power and an apparatus thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing FTI comprises the following steps: obtaining forest therapeutic factor data from database provided from forest therapeutic facilities and state institutions; modeling an FTI prediction model based on the obtained forest therapeutic factor data; estimating FTI based on the modeled FTI prediction model; and providing the estimated FTI to a user terminal.
