The present invention relates to a bilirubin derivative-based diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound contrast agent. Fine particles comprising a bilirubin derivative according to the present invention react sensitively to reactive oxygen species (ROS), bond to a hydrophobic drug, and enable effective chelating of metals such as iron oxide nanoparticles. Therefore, fine particles according to the present invention can be utilized as a contrast agent for an ultrasonic diagnosis as well as a contrast agent for a magnetic resonance image diagnosis, and a carrier for hydrophobic and platinum-based drugs.
