According to the present invention, a BLDC dryer motor capable of increasing the operating efficiency of a dryer comprises: a stator assembly (20) which includes a stator core (21), upper and lower insulators (22, 23) coupled to upper and lower portions of the stator core (20), and a coil (24) wound around a plurality of teeth protruding inward of the stator core (21); a rotor assembly (40) which includes a main shaft (41) and a rotor core (40) coupled to the main shaft (41) and positioned inside the stator assembly (20) to rotate; an upper housing (10) which is coupled to an upper portion of the stator core (21); and a lower housing (20) which is coupled to a lower portion of the stator core (22). In addition, the BLDC dryer motor comprises an overheat protecting element which is positioned on an upper portion of the coil (24) wound around the teeth and electrically connected to the coil (24).
