The present invention relates to a molding assist device for a preform of CFRP prepreg, which is able to prevent the non-uniform molding and distortion of a molding material by being used to mold a product having a curved part and a recessed part. According to the present invention, the molding assist device for a preform of CFRP prepreg includes: an upper mold (10); a lower mold (20) which is closed with the upper mold and forms a cavity (50) to obtain the shape of a predetermined product; and a sub-pad (30) which is installed in a first space (40) at a predetermined position of the upper mold. A through hole (31) is formed to have a closed lower end inside the sub-pad (30), a rod (32) is installed to be extended to the upper side of the sub-pad in the through hole, and a spring (33) is installed to surround the upper part of the rod.
