Provided is a method for monitoring a conversation session between a plurality of users and providing a service, which is provided by an interactive AI agent system. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: separately receiving a user input from a plurality of users during a conversation session, wherein the user input is a conversation input which is transmitted and received between the users; determining a predetermined user intention corresponding to the user input on the basis of a predetermined knowledge base; determining whether to be a time point requiring provision of a service by an interactive AI agent system on the basis of the predetermined user intention, wherein the service is associated with performance of at least one task; determining whether the service is to be provided during the conversation session or through a separate session in response to determination of the time point requiring the provision of the service by the interactive AI agent system; and providing the service in response to determination on whether the service is to be provided during the conversation session or through the separate session.
