Disclosed are a method for recommending a product using FP growth and a system thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for recommending a product performed by the system may comprise the steps of: determining purchase history information of a user based on properties of data; generating association rules according to the determined purchase history information of the user; and recommending a novel product to the user through a result obtained based on the association rules.
