A water purification method using water hyacinth and a microbial carrier of the present invention comprises: a step a) of planting water hyacinth in a surface layer portion of a purification target; a step b) of forming the microbial carrier a lower layer portion under the surface layer portion having water hyacinth planted therein; a step c) of supplying bubbles to the planted water hyacinth and the microbial carrier; and a step d) of supplying effective microorganisms to the planted water hyacinth. According to the present invention, a water purification system using water hyacinth and microbial carrier has effects of overcoming local water purification limits and enabling water quality to be total directionally improved by enabling water to be eco-friendly purified in an overall water quality range from the surface of purification target water to a lower layer having a sediment positioned therein. Further, the water purification system has an effect of preventing contamination caused by necrosis of aquatic plants even in an area having weather including time which does not have growth environment conditions of water hyacinth, an effect of enabling water of various purification targets which are not specific places of separate water treatment facilities, but include a lake, a dam, a reservoir, etc. to be effectively purified at low cost and high efficiency, and an effect of facilitating control of distribution range and amount of used water hyacinth. In addition, the water purification system has an effect of greatly contributing to an increase in farm household incomes by enabling collected water hyacinth to be utilized as inexpensive bulky feed or eco-friendly organic fertilizer, and an effect capable of creating excellent waterfront landscapes of the purification targets including the reservoir, the lake, the dam, etc. along with the aforementioned effects.
