The present invention relates to an HMI device with a secondary screen is applied so that data displayed on a main screen may be displayed without being obscured by adding a secondary screen to the HMI to display items displayed by being overlaid on a main screen in an existing HMI such as data entry or pop-up window creation. The HMI device for receiving a state of a control management system and inputted data to display the state and data on a screen comprises: a screen generation unit separating each target object according to the characteristics of the inputted data and generating an HMI screen corresponding to the separated target objects; and a screen display unit separating the HMI screen received by the screen generation unit for each of the separated target objects and displaying the separated HMI screen on at least two screens.
