BNIP3 STEM CELL HAVING IMPROVED HYPOXIA ADAPTATION AND THERAPEUTIC POTENTIAL BY INDUCTION OF BNIP3 EXPRESSION AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND CELL THERAPEUTIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to: a stem cell having enhanced ischemia adaptability and therapeutic function through an increase in expression of a Bcl2/adenovirus E1B 19kDa protein-interacting protein 3 (BNIP3); a cell therapeutic agent composition for preventing or treating lipid metabolism disease, which comprises, as an active ingredient, cells differentiated from the stem cell or a mesenchymal stem cell; and a preparation method of a stem cell having enhanced therapeutic function under hypoxic conditions, which comprises a step of increasing expression of BNIP3. In the present invention, it is significantly found that removal of reactive oxygen species in mitochondria and promotion of BNIP3-mediated autophagy of mitochondria for improving lipid metabolism are critical to enhancement of a therapeutic function of a stem cell. Efficiency of the present invention in therapeutic application of a mesenchymal stem cell can be remarkably enhanced by suppressing accumulation of reactive oxygen species through regulation of activation of BNIP3 under hypoxic conditions and improving lipid metabolism. Therefore, the method of the present invention can be widely applied to various industries such as medicine, pharmaceuticals and veterinary science.
