The present invention relates to a cosmetic container having a case lid with increased aesthetics and a production method thereof. The cosmetic container comprises: a case lid with opened top and bottom parts; a sheet paper inserted into an upper portion of the case lid and mounted inside the case lid; and a transparent or translucent injection molded product inserted into the upper portion of the case lid, mounted inside the case lid, and positioned on the sheet paper to close the upper portion of the case lid, wherein a top surface of the sheet paper is a formed of a planar image or a three-dimensional image.
