The present invention relates to a synthetic resin ball for cultivating plants, in which a cultivation environment, such as proliferation prohibition of virus or bacteria and the like, is fundamentally improved to prevent blight; and a manufacturing method thereof. To this end, according to the present invention, the manufacturing method comprises: a first process of mixing 50 to 70 wt% of synthetic resin powder, 15 to 20 wt% of talc powder, 5 to 10 wt% of white clay powder, 5 to 10 wt% of elvan and 5 to 10 wt% of insecticide-treated wood flour; a second process of extruding the maximized powder of the first process through an extruder; a third process of cutting an extruded material of the second process by a pellet shape through a cutter; and a fourth process of inserting the pelletized extruded material of the third process into a rotary vessel to form the same into a ball shape at the temperature below a melting point of synthetic resin powder. Moreover, the manufacturing method comprises: a first process of mixing 50 to 70 wt% of synthetic resin powder, 15 to 20 wt% of talc powder, 5 to 10 wt% of white clay powder, 5 to 10 wt% of elvan and 5 to 10 wt% of germanium powder; a second process of extruding the maximized powder of the first process through an extruder; a third process of cutting an extruded material of the second process by a pellet shape through a cutter; and a fourth process of inserting the pelletized extruded material of the third process into a rotary vessel to form the same into a ball shape at the temperature below a melting point of synthetic resin powder.
