According to the present invention, the device of things comprises: a registration request unit which encrypts, when usage information of the device of things is changed by an input of a user or is changed by a factor other than the input of the user, registration request usage information including the changed usage information and requests registration of the encrypted registration request usage information as authentication information; an authentication confirmation unit for receiving a connection request directly or indirectly from another device of things, and requesting connection authentication or input of connection information in response to the received connection request; and a connection approval unit for approving connection of the another device according to the authentication of the input connection information or a result of the connection authentication.
