The present invention relates to a messaging system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the messaging system comprises a messaging application and one or more extension applications configured to generate content which is displayed within a screen hosted by the messaging application. The messaging application is able to start one or more extension applications, and contents can be communicated between each extension application and messaging application through process communication.
