Methods for Prepaid, Debit, and Credit Card Security Code Generation Systems

The present invention relates to an integrated "dynamic security code" ("DSC") system ("DSC system") capable of changing the security code of a prepaid, debit or credit card ("payment card"). In an activity to prevent non-face-to-face (“CNP”) fraud, the DSC system provides dynamic security code values (“DSC values”) with limited use. The DSC values provided by this DSC system can be calculated in various methodologies and can be used in current standard payment card based facilities. The DSC system may also be used with other form factors and may not be associated with payments, such as balance inquiries, in other circumstances. The DSC values may be calculated by the DSC generator server or on the card itself.
