Disclosed are an expert recommendation method and expert recommendation system for providing a question and answer service based on a social network system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the expert recommendation method comprises the steps of: as a query is requested from a first user terminal using a social network system, extracting a query keyword from the query; searching for a second user terminal that has registered a field of interest associated with the query keyword among user terminals using the social network system; organizing the second user terminal into a group of experts capable of answering the query; and outputting an expert recommendation result according to the requested query to the first user terminal, including the group of experts.
