The present invention provides thermoplastic vinylidene fluoride (VDF) polymers and thermoplastic fluorinated elastomers with advantageous performance, including an improved compromise between flexibility and stiffness, and particularly suitable for use in the manufacture of parts and accessories for mobile electronic devices. A fluoropolymer composition based on the above, a method for producing the composition, a method for producing the component from the composition, and a mobile electronic device using the component.
