Provided are a method and an apparatus for generating scene situation information. According to embodiments of the present invention, the method for generating scene situation information can automatically generate scene information with high accuracy for each image from a video by using a classification model trained in video units to generate scene situation information on an image in image units and filtering the scene situation information based on a scene transition time point of the video.
