The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing lactonic sophorolipid. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method capable of manufacturing lactonic sophorolipid with high purity, comprising: a first step of obtaining a mixed solution of sophorolipid containing lactonic sophorolipid and oxidized sophorolipid from a microbial culture medium having sophorolipid production capacity; a second step of removing a fat-soluble component from the mixed solution; and a third step of dissolving the oxidized sophorolipid in water by adding water to the mixed solution from which the fat-soluble component is removed, and separating lactonic sophorolipid.
