The present invention relates to a method for extracting both the phase information and the amplitude information of seismic signals by using seismic ambient noise. According to the present invention, in order to solve the problems of the prior art, in which no technique for extracting both the phase information and the amplitude information of seismic signals has been provided, provided is a method for extracting the phase and amplitude information of seismic signals by using seismic ambient noise, in which by using three seismic interferometry techniques of deconvolution, coherency and cross correlation, a series of processes for extracting the phase and amplitude information of impulse response functions (IRFs) from seismic ambient noise, which is always recorded in a seismic station regardless of seismic activity, is configured to be performed by a computer or dedicated hardware such that both the phase information and the amplitude information of the seismic signals can be efficiently extracted from the seismic ambient noise with respect to a low earthquake area and the extracted data can be used to analyze and study seismic ground motion. The method for extracting the phase and amplitude information of seismic signals by using seismic ambient noise comprises: a data collecting step; an impulse response function extracting step; a phase and amplitude information calculating step; and a result display step.
