Disclosed are an accident prediction system and method for construction site safety based on industrial IoT. According to one embodiment of the present application, the accident prediction system may comprise: a sensing device including a plurality of IoT sensors sensing accident cause information through an environmental change of a construction site; a gateway collecting the accident cause information from the sensing device and transmitting the accident cause information to an accident predicting device; and an accident predicting device constructing an accident prediction model based on a linkage analysis algorithm using the accident cause information and accident type information.
