The present invention relates to a smart volume-rate food waste collection device having an active opening/closing control system, capable of preventing an accident, in which a part of a body, such as a finger, is jammed, while preventing a problem of generation of a bad smell through a certain and safe opening/closing control by determining a control factor for opening/closing when opening/closing an opening/closing door of a volume-rate food waste collection device in multiple ways. According to the present invention, the smart volume-rate food waste collection device comprises: an actuator including a motor cylinder which drives an opening/closing door to rotate around a hinge shaft by linear driving of a cylinder rod by driving a reversible driving motor which is reversible; and an opening/closing door control unit which controls forward/reverse driving of the forward/reverse driving motor. The opening/closing door control unit comprises: an opening/closing detection unit detecting each of opening/closing completion time points of the opening/closing door to generate a corresponding electric signal value and transmitting the same to a control determination unit; an opening/closing time calculation unit receiving an electric signal value of each an open completion time and a closing completion time generated by the opening/closing detection unit to calculate the opening time and the closing time of the opening/closing door; the control determination unit determining an opening/closing control operation through combination of the electric signal value detected by the opening/closing detection unit and the opening/closing time calculated by the opening/closing time calculation unit; and an actuator control unit controlling an operation of the actuator on the basis of the determination signal of the control determination unit.
