The present invention relates to a novel Paecilomyces hepiali CS4 strain having high productivity of adenosine, which is isolated from a Cordyceps militaris of Endoclyta excrescens, and has remarkably improved adenosine productivity. According to the present invention, 3 ml of the Paecilomyces hepiali CS4 strain, which is isolated from Cordyceps militaris of Endoclyta excrescens and cultured for a week in a PDB medium, is inoculated to 50 g of a pupa medium, and then is cultured at 23°C for 20 days, thereby producing 180 mg of adenosine per 100 g of the medium.
